Alright, so technically this is just another practice piece. I am now using photoshop cc, my gimp has been force closing and crashing lately, so I may have to uninstall it, then upload again. Anyhow, I've created this piece following a tutorial authored by<da:thumb id="279763370">(Under Water Easy Photoshop Tutorial)

Now, I can understand why this guy calls himself the "Photoshop Houdini," because this tutorial was like magic. It is crazy how I witness photoshop magic right before my eyes as I were creating this piece! I really appreciate this tutorial, because It taught me something new. Hence, the name "A Different Perspective." Furthermore, this kind of art is new for me, but I will be experimenting with this technique more until it becomes second nature to me, and I would like to try different kinds of things with it.

I know, I know, I could have used the same top layer ocean texture as Houdini did, to make this piece appear to be more dramatic, however, I wanted to learn from him and be original, thus the elephant in calm ocean water creating a waterfall with his trunk!
